Why did you decide to choose fashion designer as your career?
"Fashion design chose me! For as long as I can remember, even back to my early childhood, I have been interested in fashion by creating beautiful things and making people feel good about how they look. It makes me happy to see someone enjoying the design, and that feeling has driven me to become a fashion designer and continue to work my craft. It just makes me feel good."
What is your favorite part of fashion design?
"Working with my clients and seeing how good they feel when we together created a design that enhances how they look and feel about themselves."
How long have you been a fashion designer?
"I feel as if I have been designing since I was a teen in Peru. If you include that time, then in excess of 25 years. Wow, it doesn't feel that long. I guess time flies when you are enjoying what you do."
